Sustainable Exhibiting Now Easier Than Ever Before

Why Now Is A Great Time For Sustainable Trade Show Exhibits

We have entered a golden era of green exhibiting.

Back in 2008, there was a surge of exhibitors wanting more sustainable exhibiting solutions – exhibits that had a lower carbon footprint and environmental impact through their sourcing, fabrication, use, and disposal.

But during many of the following years, sustainable exhibiting products were an incomplete solution, and also cost more than their non-sustainable counterparts. Today, that’s no longer the case.

There are now a wide variety of readily-available sustainable exhibit components. Marketers can build their brand at trade shows with exactly the exhibit design they want, and still lower their company’s environmental impact.

If you want to join the growing number of organizations and marketers who want a more sustainable exhibiting program, let’s talk

Exhibit Expressions President Nicole Klein has been part of the vanguard of sustainable exhibiting for over 15 years, working with clients exhibiting at Greenbuild and other shows to reduce their carbon footprint and environmental impact. Nicole currently serves on the Exhibit Designers + Producers Association (EDPA) Sustainability Committee.

The EDPA is actively codifying an international standard for sustainable exhibiting, which they will soon share with exhibitors and their vendors. The goal is to aim for Net Zero Carbon events, from how the exhibits are designed, built, moved, and disposed of. These standards are based on existing proven standards created by forward-thinking show organizers.

If part of your organization’s mandate is to move towards sustainability, or you personally want to lower your company’s environmental impact, let us show how we can do that with your exhibiting program. We partner with vendors who already offer all the sustainable exhibiting products and practices we discussed above. If it’s important to you to make your trade show program more sustainable, we can help guide you there.
